Our Story
Born & Raised
in the Heights
Al and Maria Ciminata were both born and raised in the Heights. They opened FROTH in 2017 inside an 1870s corner building on Franklin Street -- not because it was trendy, but because it was home. Their Italian-American roots show up in the pastry case, and their neighborhood pride shows up in every cup of Jersey City-roasted Kobrick coffee they pour.
The space itself tells a story — an 1870s Italianate building with exposed brick, ornate plaster columns, and soaring high ceilings. It's the kind of place that was always meant to be a gathering spot. Al and Maria just made it official.

brewed with care
Heights Favorites
Jersey City-roasted Kobrick beans, seasonal specialty drinks, and Balthazar baked goods.
Iced Lavender Lemonade
Our signature summer refresher — house-made lavender syrup, fresh lemon, served over ice.
Nutella Latte
Espresso pulled with Kobrick beans, steamed milk, real Nutella. A Heights fan favorite.
Choco-Mint Cold Brew
Smooth cold brew with house chocolate-mint syrup. Bold, refreshing, dangerously good.
Classic Cinnamon Roll
Warm, gooey, generously frosted. Pairs perfectly with a pour-over on a lazy Saturday.
The Space
An 1870s Corner
Building With Soul
Exposed brick walls. Ornate plaster columns. Soaring high ceilings with morning light streaming through tall corner windows. The kind of space that makes you slow down and stay a while.
Bring your laptop — the wifi's solid and nobody's rushing you out. Or just grab a spot on the couch with a cinnamon roll and the Saturday paper. This is your Heights office away from home.
